The little crazy, materialistic, shopping whore in me is screaming out and wanting release. I haven't shopped in too long. I need to shop...badly. I need retail therapy now!! As much as I don't want to trade those beautiful summer days for a breezy autumn and a chilly winter, I do however look very forward to Fall/Winter Fashion.
I swear that first pay check coming this Thursday will be spent to the last cent. Wasted on all my material wants for right now. I know the more sensible me would be like, "Yeah, you right, you should be saving this money up. Maybe spend a little and save the rest for later." But too bad my own good advice falls unto deaf ears.
SO ~ as for things I want to buy. Yes, I realize some of these "fashions" are "trendy". But know that I DON'T like these "fashions" because they are "trendy". I could care less if they were in style or not this season. I rock these "trends", simply because they tickle my fancy, they are in my style. Not because they are "trendy" and I've seen every other girl rock the same "trends". Not to sound like totally rebellious here but ugh...I wear what I like, regardless if it's "in the moment" this season or what have you.
Moving on...things I'm looking for/looking to buy:
- The "Skinny" Jean/Straight-Leg Jean (I would like an indigo pair with bleach-faded accents and a nice design detail on the back pockets.)
- Some Polos (Basics & Prints)
- Ballet Flats (I want a white pair)
- A black leather belt w/ big belt rectangle belt buckle.
- A cropped baseball jacket (I've seen like only a few around)
- A bomber jacket w/ fur trim (Faux of course) on the hoodie
- Black Mid-Length Stiletto Boots
- White Ankle-Length Stiletto Bootie
- Some Fur Boot (I'm not sure what style yet)
- And the impossible find...Timberland Mid-Length Stiletto Boots (Remember J & B's "Bonnie & Clyde" Video?)
- Victoria Secret's Pink Hoodies and Sweatpants (Something pink in color)
- A GUESS? Purse
- A Baby Phat Purse
- Alice Bands (Basics & Prints)
My "whattogetforfallandwinter" List...atleast for now.
I know, it's a lot. But that's the very reason why I got a job in the very first place - to blow it all on clothes, accessories, shoes, etc.
I applied at Party City the last Friday, got called back for an interview on Saturday. I'm just suprised at the fact that they actually called me back and so damn soon. I mean ain't it usually that they call you a few days to a week to never? I mean, I'm more than happy, as gay as this shit sounds, I'm ecstatic about it.
The manager took me in for a quick interview. He asked if I ever had a job, truth is I never worked a day in my life, I gave him a reluctant NO, and he questioned, "So this will be your first job?", I said yes, searching in his eyes for disapproval...anything, he simply answered, it that all too cheery tone, "Well, there's a first time for everything!" Another thing I'm suprised about, how smoothly it had all gone down.
Alls I got to do now is get my working papers in and I start Tuesday.
I think a job will do me some real good. I mean, I need to busy myself with the right things. I've had all summer to have my fun and now it's the start of school, I should be focused on my studies and now on making that money.
Random thought just popped into my mind, I wonder if I get to wear a costume on Holloween to work. That would be HOT.

Just got this Vox account. Tinkered with the customizations, added a little 101 on yours truly, uploaded some photos, & I'm liking it so far. I'm not quite sure what type of content I will be posting here. I figure mostly random shit as always, like those nifty QOTD you Voxettes are so damn fond off. But we'll see. I've never signed up for a blogging-type website other than Livejournal but this is the great exception. Vox is different. It bears it's similiarities to LJ because it's a blogging site, but it's like Myspace in a way because you can add friends. Plus I like it's simplicity of use and clean page format. But I don't know if I will be posting too much private entries. I like to save those personal entries for my LJ (which is currently in the making, I won't launch it until I got a layout up).
